ANÜLÜX: Heritage Woven with the Soul of La Guajira

From the mystical peninsula of La Guajira, in the northeastern tip of Colombia, ANÜLÜX emerges as a brand that embodies the legacy of an ancient culture and a matriarchal tradition. In a desert by the vast Caribbean Sea, where scorching heat and salty winds are part of daily life, weaving is much more than a craft—it is an ancestral tradition passed down through generations as a spiritual connection with nature.

Our Wayuu bags, handcrafted with intricate weaving techniques and the finest quality materials, reflect the creativity, wisdom, and resilient spirit of our people. Each piece is unique, meticulously crafted over 20 to 30 days, a labor-intensive process inspired by the myth of Walekeru, the spider that gifted the Wayuu people with the skill to weave and express the essence of everyday life through each thread.

Founded in 2015 by Mayra Alejandra Iguaran Manjarrez, a descendant of the Wayuu Epiayu and Urariyu clans, ANÜLÜX is a tribute to ancestral heritage and a platform that brings the cultural richness of La Guajira to the world. Inspired by the family's first great artisan, Enrriqueta Iguaran, also known as "Tía Keta", who in 1905 introduced Wayuu creations to the capital of Colombia for the first time, ANÜLÜX continues to weave stories that connect the past with the present.

Each Wayuu bag we create is more than an accessory—it is a symbol of identity, art, and tradition. We personalize colors and designs to offer an exclusive piece that captures the essence of the artisanal, the handmade, and the unique, as a tribute to our roots and a gift from our land to the world.
